Fido, an automated pet ID kiosk, has done a really good job making an easy to use and charming interface with their recent upgrade to their DIY engravers. When the time comes to insert the engraveable tag, instead of the screen just displaying a generic “please wait” message, a little video plays of a dog donning safety goggles, while he looks down towards the engraving machine.
this system used to feel like an ATM transaction and now puts a little smile on your face. An excellent little example of a charming detail that hopefully makes customers walk away smiling.
Additionally, the designs of the tags you can choose from were pretty well balanced, design wise. Of course, the orange enamel one was my pick.
