this weekend we found an emaciated dog at this river near snow hill, maryland. luckily we had disco's food and water in the car so we fed the dog, a young black mastiff, and stuck around with a police officer until the animal control guy came. the poor thing was down to the skeleton - i can't imagine anyone ever dumping a dog. i hope this little pup finds a new life somewhere. he was a sweetheart and his tail started wagging again right after he ate, even though he couldn't even walk prior to eating from being so malnourished. we had just happened to take a little detour by the river - it wasn't even on the schedule...but it is funny the way things work out...like we are all meant to be at certain places at certain times if we keep our eyes open.
speaking of an over nourished dog, here's some shots of disco at the river and the beach in assateague this weekend.
this sunset shot was taken at the chincoteague inn. cheap beer (total tab was $7.63 for 4 beers) and a 70's relic lounge singer made the scene picture perfect.
great weekend.

last night we caught the go-go's at the 9:30 club. fun show. belinda looks brand new and our friend patrick got pulled on stage. this is the best shot of the night - i have a new nikon for pocket use and i'm still working out the details - i have lots of shots of the back of belinda's head.

on a personal and professional note, i have been named to the board of directors for the Anthony Bowen YMCA. it is a wonderful program providing the community with everything from childcare to fitness programs.
