dc finally has a bowling alley (since the one in the white house doesn't count!). lucky strike opened another location at gallery place, downtown. matt, rob, and i went a few nights ago and had a great time. the bowling area has a great look - urban warehouse, but the restaurant bar area isn't so lucky. it's just a forgettable interior done better in a million other places, so i can't imagine why you would go here if you weren't there to bowl. espn zone has better food and better tvs if you want to watch sports.

also, be prepared for AWFUL service...but that might be because they've forced all the servers to wear outfits that harken back to the slut in any 80's movie. not camp like hooters, just bad like early taylor dayne.

anyway, the bowling was great. it's a little pricey (2 games for 3 people=$50) but it beats driving out to the suburbs.
