although it feels like you've seen a lot of it before, million dollar baby is still the movie to beat this year. fantastic film.
bad education is a rough ride, but beautiful in it's gritty subject matter. pedro aldomovar is still my favorite director working today.

today is a learning day! from the overstock.com ceo, today's word of the day is "lickspittle". unfortunately, when i looked that word up, the definition was "toady", which didn't really help me, unless that word meant "like a toad"...which i doubted. so i pressed on and looked up "toady", only to find "sycophant", which, thanks to the SATs, i can proudly say the definition of the charming mot "lickspittle" to be a...."flatterer". there you go-impress your neighbor.
and tomorrow's word will be "schadenfreude" - happy homework everyone!
