there's some fantastic jazz out right now - some old, some new. verve records has rereleased to itunes some great out of print albums, specifically the wonderful stay with me by billie holiday. for new jazz recordings, no band is having as much fun as the boilermaker jazz band. i love their new album, give me your telephone number, available via the band's web site - oh yeah, and they are going to be in DC for new years, so if you are looking for a way to ring in the new year or an excuse to learn how to swing dance, visit their site to see how to buy tickets.
