it's unbelievable that americans can still suport bush and this ridiculous war with the dead bodies of american citizens being dragged through the street. so what if we have to pay more for gasoline?? it's an unrenewable resource that we have to wean ourselves from at some point...why not start now - instead of sending all of these young men and women to their deaths just to guarantee our lazy way of life. come on america, go for a walk, lose some weight, and get bush out of office.

wow, how timely. while israel & palestine are dealing with teenagers strapping bombs to themselves because they are promised "a river of honey, a river of wine and 72 virgins," the pope comes out to decry sports on sundays. yes, sports on sundays is a very big issue that we need to deal with. not disease, religious fanaticism, child abuse, the destruction of the environment, or unwanted pregnancies. sports on sundays. thanks for your time pope, it's time to retire and for the catholic church to evolve.

random thoughts:

go to rosa mexicana skip the forgetable entrees and just get the fun pomegranate margaritas and tasty appetizers at the bar of this new trendy restaurant in downtown.

skip pretentious and boring komi on 17th street.

check out douglas gordon's stylish exhibit at the hirshhorn.
